Shower screen on uneven tiles

How much do the tiles deviate? How about a butyl mastic strip sealant? You can get it in a 10mm diamter profile, it squashes down to suit. Then once the screen section is tightened up against the wall seal each side with silicone as normal?

It’s probably about up to 3 or 4mm in places
