hi all. A glass shower screen that pivots at the top and bottom became detached and smashed my sink to bits!

Anyway the sink has now been replaced and it is a different model than the one fitted some 20 years ago. It's much higher and therefore the waste doesn't align.

So I need a flexi pipe. I took the bottle trap part to 2 local plumber counters and bought a myriad mostly mc Alpine pipes and connectors all of which have been an expensive waste. They are all slightly too big or not female to female.

Essentially I need a female to female flexi joiner to join end of waste and top of bottle trap.

Can anyone help my sanity and point to the correct part as i'm at my wits end.

thanks a lot

Id fix waste trap to the sink waste then fit new waste pipe and fittings up to waste.
Often you have to cut the waste pipe back to give yourself room to to get a dog leg in the waste pipe to line up.

Use solvent pipe and fittings..

Is that what you want to do?

Make and model of sink and the waste fitted in it might help (or not).

I'd be looking to replace that plastic waste with a decent brass captive flip style such as https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/wirquin-wbk97w-basin-waste-spinner-slotted-11-4-chrome-plated/

The chrome bottle trap is missing bits that are still on the smashed sink's waste, probably:

https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/mcalpine-caa10-p-and-s-bottle-trap-125-x-75mm-chrome-plated/ may give you a clue?

You may need to replace entire trap to get the missing bits if they have been binned.
