I moved into a house two years ago. There was an Aqualisa Aquastream shower already installed and, until today, it's been working like a charm.
However it suddenly stopped during mid-shower, which was annoying in a variety of ways. The pump sounds as though it's working as normal, but no water is coming out. There are no funny burning smells, just no water. Anyone know what kind of a problem I have here?

there is usually a valve which turns the water flow on and off. the heater elements are generally controlled to only operate when the water is running.
the valve has most likely failed and will need replacing. they cost about £25 +vat from the manufacturers as spare parts but a plumbers merchant will likely sell you the same part in a different box for lots less.
