Hi Folks

Can anyone recommend what shower type would be best to use with a back boiler system. My wife is due a hip replacement & has been advised that we will need a walk in shower as she won't be able to climb in & out of the bath & I'm at at loss to which one to fit - HELP

Not advice re the shower, more whether you actually need one.

A couple of personal questions: how old is your wife, and does she suffer any other mobility problems?

I will soon be having my 6th hip replacement, but can still manage to get into the bath. I am, however, only in my mid-fifties, so still fairly supple/maneuverable.
She will not be able to shower for a couple of weeks, but should be able to use the bath after 6 to 10 weeks, dependant on her speed of recovery.
