I have a shower fitted in the first floor bathroom which runs fine off our combi boiler in the cellar. I also have an electric shower fitted in the attic. This works fine unless someone turns on a tap anywhere and the water can suddenly turn extremely hot. So we hardly use it. Am I right in thinking that I can't pump water up to an electric shower? If so, is one possible solution to fit a water tank up in the attic too so that the shower runs from that rather than from the mains directly? Hope this makes sense.

you can use a pump on an electric shower or use an electric shower with an internal pump.
