Hey are all shower traps the type that can be tighten by putting the top section though the tray and tightening up to the bottom section by screwing it in? I have one that doesnt seem to have a way of getting much leverge to screw the top section in to the bottom section of the trap (ones I've seen before had a plastic key or something similar to do this). Has anyone come across this before.

This is the trap I have got seems no real way to get much leverage to screw the top section to the section below the tray. Any advice?

Firm pressure with the palm of your hand on the top section, whilst tightening up the bottom section to the underside of the tray should suffice. You only need to compress the washer enough to make a seal.
