Hi. First time fitting a shower tray and could do with some advice please.
The tray is one of the hollow fibreglass type with quite good ground clearance ie big step into tray...
1. How do I secure it to the floor? Does it need legs or does it hold the weight by its own structure.
2. To get the waste out the wall (into the drain) I'm going to need to get past a floor joist. Do I drill a hole or cut a U shaped slot. What is the 'regs' on the amount you can remove from a floor joist. Any advice most welcome.

Build a frame out of 6 x 2 and sit the tray on it.

Do not start cutting out joists etc.

When you have tested trap and waste for leaks. gripfill to the wall :D
