I've decided to let a local plumber do the shower installation.

I've also decided to have the electric shower removed and re-instal the Mira gravity shower, as the energy bill has gone up by at least £70 quarter as we have 5 grown-ups using the shower daily.

I know I can fit a dual pump to increase the pressure at the shower head, but if I was to have the tank in the attic raised.

How much would I have to have it raised to see any noticeable change in the pressure at the head. 6", 12" etc ??? At the moment the distance from the head to the underside of the Tank is approx 20"

33 feet (approx) = 1 bar, current building regs state min of 3 feet from bottom of tank to shower head which gives you 0.1 bar. From here you can do the maths for your situation..
