Cus wants to replace his venturi shower which was fed via mains pressure cold feed and a hot feed off the cylinder . He wants just a normal bar type shower valve . There is no way to convert the cold feed to a tank fed cold . Can a pressure reducing valve be used to make the two pressures equal ?????

A pressure equalising valve will make the pressures equal but the higher is reduced to that of the lower.

They sell them at BES, Toolstation etc.

why are BES ones £40 and toolstation ones £80 are they both as good quality or are toolstation ones better ???

pressure equalising valves are better than pressure reducing valves
as they can restrict flow.

i always use reliance pev's
