Hi,

My toilet flush recently started filling reaaaally slowly. I took the valve mechanism apart and identified a small tear in the diaphragm.

From further investigations it seems I have a siamp bottom entry float valve and simply replacing the diaphragm should fix the problem, but I also saw in a forum someone suggested replacing Siamps with a Torbeck.

Anyone have an opinion?

Cheers!

Thanks guys. For now I've just replaced the siamp diaphragm which seems to have fixed the immediate issue.

I guess I'll see how long it last before deciding to fork out for a new valve unit.

Thanks for the input.
