Hi all,

My toilet is leaking water into the pan and it seems to be the flush valve (siamp optima 49). I untwisted the flush valve out of its base and gave it good clean but still leaking -seal might need replacing. I managed to find the same flush valve online but I was wondering if there is any other compatible flush valves to replace this siamp optima 49 and twist into its base without having to disconnect the cistern from pan.

Thanks in advance

Probably only other Siamp valves. Fit your new one, or replace with a different valve but will need to remove the cistern.

Thanks MJN.

I have cleaned the diaphragm and its surroundings and then applied Vaseline as someone else suggested online but still leaking. Ordered a new one and if it doesn’t fix the leak I will replace the whole valve.

cheers
