Does a side path access to a new build front door have to be a minimum width? As its a path between the house and a wall.
Thanks

This a new build house? This the path between the boundary and wall? It needs to match the approved plans.

Hi, yes new build, but the end of the path is out by 5 inches (tapers in) due to tapered boundary line, not picked up on by architect so has made it slightly narrower.

Really who's gonna fret about it unless maybe the path is dimensioned on the approved drawings or the width is refereed to in the conditions but really what's 5 inches on a boundary. How wide is the path?

There are no regulations for this.

In addition, the landscaping on new build is subject to change and dies not have to confirm to any plan unless it is specifically conditioned

Thanks, the plans state a dimension of 39" to boundary but this actually tapers to 34". Not sure if the building inspector will measure and raise it or this would not confirm to any regulation for wheel chair access etc. Thanks again

It would seem sensible to ensure it is as wide as the front door, however there is no specific dimension in building regulations.
