Hi all,

Im about to drain my system to allow me to replace a few pipes, and relocate a radiator. My system has a Siemens DA-V322 return valve.

What i would like to know is what are the settings i need to select to allow full drainage of the system.... (I did know, but forgotten)

It has two slide arms on the side of it.. one black plastic and one silver.

The black seems to have the letters W M H

the silver has MAN OPEN...

I think its the Silver one i need to set, but thaught id check as to refresh myself....

Many thanks.

Drain in the manually open but when it seems to have been drained just close it for a few seconds before opening it again just in case its not operating correctly.

Tony

Not sure if i busted this...Grrr.... More info pls guys....

Moved the lever up and the black lever then moved upwards to the (H) position. Ive noted that the Silver lever is now very free moving up and down.... IS THIS NORMAL?

Currently Draining the system now anyways.... but would be handy to know a little more....

Thanks in Advance...

H = hand yes the lever will be free.

Send me an email (in my profile) an I'll post you the technical pdf.

Water (only)
Mid/Manual position (both)
Heating (only)

The slver lever will have latched the valve in position. I expect it'll unlatch the first time it's motored past that point in use..

Its a divertor valve Chris, not a flow share.

No it's not it's a 2 port! :P But some of the Siemens/Landis heads are shared by both types. He asked what WMH stood for...

Presumably the W end is the closed end and H the open, when it's fitted on the 2 port.

Yes it is ( panto Time )

ZA is 2 port.
MA is mid position.
DA is diverter.
