Hi all
Just booked a Siemens engineer visit for 17th but was warned that call out and parts likely to be in the region of £250-£280. Dishwasher is 15 years old, so probably not worth repairing at that price, but I hate throwing stuff away that can be fixed. Can anyone give me any ideas of what is likely to be causing the dishwasher to trip the electrics? It switches on fine, but as soon as the door is closed the electrics trip.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Julie

At 15yrs old I would consider putting the call-out charge (£90-100?) towards a new dishwasher. I would like to think a new one would be better at cleaning with less water and electric used however household appliances are not my field.
