Siemens RAA20 wiring to greenstar 37cdi

Hi, can anyone help. Fitted a Siemens RAA20 to my Worcester 37cdi, it looked like a simple task but the stat is no doing anything. I have taken out the link and ran Ls from boiler block to L on stat and Lr on boiler to Y1 on stat. This leaves N on boiler block and Y2 on stat empty. It says its a two wire installation. Have a messed up or do I have a faulty stat.
