I have just installed an RDH10RF. For the live supply to the receiver only comes on when the programmer switches the central heating on (auto/manually). I thought that this would be okay, so that the receiver would only comes on when the CH is timed on.
When I now turn on the CH or it comes on timer, the receiver doesn't seem to fire up straight away even if the transmitter is calling for heat. It either comes on after about 10 minutes after the CH comes on or I have to turn the switch point down below the room temperature, then up again to trigger the receiver.
Does anyone know how frequent the transmitter and receiver "talk to each other"?
Thank you very much
