Siemens RWB29 controller 2 or 3 on/offs per day?

i have a siemens RWB29 controller, on every website and shop where it is for sale it clearly states either 2 or 3 on/offs per day. I can only get it to have 2 on/offs per day and wondered if anybody knows what you have to do to get 3 on/offs per day? i have read the manual countless times but cannot work it out.!

is ther a jumper thing on the back which you have to move from one set of pins too the other

There are a set of dip switches, but they alter the programme style i.e 7 day, 5/2 day or daily. (7 day allowing everyday to have different on off times, 5/2 day being same times mon-fri and same sat-sun, daily being same times everyday. the final dip switch selects fully pumped or gravity hot water

If it's anything like the RWB7/9, you have to push the reset button after setting the jumpers before the change will take effect.

Try jumper no.4, then reset.

yes you do, but the dip switches dont relate to the on off periods per day....i think maybe the shops and websites have got it wrong and it only allows 2 per day

Although the manual says that no.4 jumper is to do with 5d2d/7d/24hr programming, it mentions nothing about actually moving it!

It also mentions that the default program is 2 on/offs per day which implies there is an alternative.

On the RWB9 jumper no. 4 controls two or three switching periods per day.

The back of the RWB29 and RWB9 are the same, only the front is different.

So try jumper 4, then reset, before you give up!

I can confirm that dip switch 4 does control 2/3 switching per day...
