Siemens Siwamat xl 1280 - Door won't open

I ran the regular cycle and when it reached the rinse phase the light flashed red and I got an error beep. I couldn't do anything other than restart the machine and try the drain cycles but again, I get the error light and beep next to Rinse.

So now my wet washing is stuck in there and I don't know how to get the door open.

You need to be able to drop the drain hose down to floor level & gravity should drain the water from the machine, you will need to do it near to an outside door. You may or may not then be able to open the door or you may need to manually please the lock if it does not open after being left switched off for 5 mins.
