I’ve always been a traditionalist and use cement and sand grout on my patio.it normally lasts well but I’ve decided to rake it out and replace. I could go with the usual damp sand and cement mix but I tried some Sika All weather grout on a small corner patio. Easy to use and it looks great
However, before I do the same on my main patio, 40 sq mtrs I thought I’d ask a key question. Using these polymeric mixes such as Easy Joint and Sika has anyone used a pressure washer on their patio ? I have a k Archer with the round patio attachment but concerned about cleaning the patio, after a few months, and would it damage the grout ? My patio is slightly shaded so needs a pressure wash twice a year
Generally the sand and cement mix takes a good pressure wash.
