patio grouting mix

hi peeps i just relayed my patio on just sand but want to grout it with a cement/sand mix whats the best ratio to help stop slabs moving i know i shouldnt of cut corners but i did lol

There is no point, you layed a flexible base so the slabs will flex and the pointing will crack. Assuming you don't want to re-do it you might be best using one of the brush in type products as they are a bit crap but at least might have a slight flex to them and will be easy to remove when they fail.
 
On second thoughts could you rickle the slabs tightly together and just joint them with dry sand? Probably not an option for heavily riven flags etc.
