Greetings men!

I have this garden drainage system where excess water at the front of my house is carried to the back garden where it soaks away.

There is an inspection chamber at the front garden. I attach a photo. The flow is towards and down the orange pipe. I want to install something like a filter or even just a piece of plastic where the chamber joins the orange pipe. Something that will allow water to flow over it but cause silt to build up where the obstacle is, which I can clean out from time to time.

Any ideas about products or how I could do this? Putting some kind of U trap in is out of the question.

Thanks!

Berty
