Hi Guys,

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
I am a corgi engineer however i have always been an installer instead of a fault finder but i have came across a fault that i cant identify.

The boiler (80 Combi) intially had the contsant orange light and was blowing off on its own, when i repressuized it (after blow off) it was doing the same so i manually released the pressure.
I then opened the filling loop and put it back to 1.5bar however it now started showing the blinking orange light to say it no longer had enough pressure?

The customer stated that the hot water was no longer as hot as it was before which led me to think it was the diaphram.

Any suggestions from you guys would be gratefully appreciated as i think it may be the heat exchanger(which is not the easiest to change).

Thanks Charles

well i have just looked at the super 80 instalation manual and i cannot find anything to do with an orange flashing light ?? i have just worked on day replacing the ign board, none of the sime models seem to have a low water pressure switch so how are you getting the message that there is not enough pressure???? at 1.5bar
have you got the gc number??? so i can look at some of the models i have on cd
I am wondering if its to do with the expansion vessel if it was disharging on its own???? as you say as well its not an easy job to change the dom heat exch
