SIME Format 100E RED LIGHT

Somebody out there must have come across this one … Please give me a clue.
This just stops firing up and the red pilot comes on. When the control switch is turned to 1 o’clock it fires up. It may function ok for hours then just stays off until the control knob is turned. Unfortunately I cannot find the circuit diagram; help in this area would be appreciated.
