Hi all, due to not always having somewhere to park, we're thinking of building a very simple driveway on our front garden.
At the moment it's a lawn that drains well, it's not a huge area and we like having the grass there, so the plan is to have 2 strips of paving slabs (for use of a better word), with a decent gap between each that we can plant moss in (so that there's as much green as possible)
I'll need to have a very strong concrete sub base, and then slabs that can take the weight of a car, but what other considerations do I need make?
In terms of drainage, there wont be a huge expanse of block paving/concrete/tarmac, so I'd expect little to change in that aspect (I know I'm bound to be wrong here!)
We also need a drop kerb for access, that's part of the budget already
thanks all!
