Size of gas feed pipe for a regular condensing boiler?

Imagine a renovated flat !

Gas fire, cooker and then an old boiler with laminated floors everywhere.

The obvious solution is to feed the boiler from a new external 28 mm and leave the existing under the floor.

If the 28 mm run is not quite adequate the the two could be parallelled.

I see the logic behind it, I've never seen it done though.

I once found two flats fed from two meters but parallelled somewhere under the floor.

It had been done for three years until I tried to do a CP12 and wondered why the pressure stayed at 20 mB however much gas I let out!
