Evening,
I base coated a brick wall with bonding on Sunday and haven't had time to skim it with miltifinish.
I should get around to it tomorrow evening.
Do I need to PVA it or dampen it with water to control suction or just crack on?
Its defo set but I don't know if its totally dry as such.
Cheers.

You will need to give it a couple of coats of pva before you skim it.

Cheers but too late I did it this morning! You were right though I should have PVA'd.

I dampened it with water, not too much, and the suction was noticeable. I sprayed water on when flattening it and just about got away with it. A few spots might need filling but I'm a DIYer so wasn't getting paid.

I assume the plaster wont blow or fall off or anything?

If the skim dries too quickly it may well crack and not take.
See how it goes when it dries out.
