I'm replacing my skirting boards around my downstairs. Some parts of the walls are concreate and some plaster board.

Can I just use some type of no nail sor grip glue ?

The ones I took off had really long nails in them.

Thanks

knock yourself out...

should stick to both surfaces no problem

use gripfill, you may have a few problems though if the walls are slightly out or the skirting is out of shape with regards to getting it to hold against the wall

Just a little pet habit of mine - I try to avoid no more nails on anything I might want to get off in future.

You got your skirting boards off because they had been nailed on. What if you or someone else needs to get them off again in future? Depending on the surface these modern adhesives are strong than the materials they stick and end up making a hell of a mess if you ever need to get them off.

Just a thought. :)
