If I get a subscription and new sky plus hd box in the UK can I take it to my house in France and plug it into my sat dish which I already use for freeview using a pace sky mini box?

I'm tempted to say "yes", except that freeview is a UK terrestrial service, which works from an aerial.

You'll need a dish with a quad-output LNB to provide 3 connections.

If you have a dish with sufficient gain (if it works for UK freesat it should be fine for UK sky) pointed at the correct group of sattelites (UK freesat is the same group as UK sky) then it should work. Be aware though that it's a violation of your agreement with sky to do it.
