I have taken up a poorly laid tile floor. Both front and back doors have the same problem.
The concrete behind the door is very weak and disintegrating (it's the join after the main slab). Not good for the SLC!
I'm thinking I should dig this out and pour a stronger mix. There is a DPM underneath all this.
