Hi all,

I have layed a natural slate floor with fast setting adhesive, the level is apparently not great with slight lipping. Also have lots of adhesive on the tiles!!

My questions are - How do you get the adhesive off the tops of the tiles after it has fully set?

- With an uneven surface whats the best way of levelling and tidying the plinths of kitchen units with the floor?

Thanks

water and a scotchbride should take the addy off mate, cut kick boards to match floor, put a small block on the floor, put a pencil on the block and run teh pencil along the kickboard, that gives you the shape you need to trim to

Cheers mate appreciate the prompt response, can I just ask should I clean then grout or do all the cleaning at the same time once the grouting is done? Realise this could be a silly question!

clean the adhesive off first mate, then grout ya floor then clean excess grout off, then give a quick lick over with a lint free cloth, sorted
