Hi, I have a pantry closet (2545mm height floor to ceiling, 1455mm width).
I am thinking to install 1200mm sliding barn door track with the Pine door (1981 x 610), 16kg in weight.
Barn door kit has no floor track but there is a floor guide to prevent door coming off the track, it can take max door weight of 105kg.
Door opening will be on right side and left side will be plaster boarded.

Leave 200 mm from top for track
1981mm for door
364mm remaining space at the bottom

Will there be any problem if I create a 364mm x 1455mm storage at the bottom and attach a 3.8x6.3x1455 timber for the door floor guide?

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I'd be tempted to keep the door down as close to the floor as possible to prevent a trip hazard if it's big enough to walk into.
If it's only cupboard size, you could mount a slim automatic light to the back of the top filler board so it comes on when you open the door.
