Might be nothing, just went outside and caught a slight smell of gas by the flue where it comes out through the house wall. We've just turned the heating on as we've just got home, so the boiler fired up and is chugging away, is the smell normal? Like I said, it was only a brief smell of it

We had boiler serviced on Tuesday by British Gas as the free annual check covered by or service contract, and he didnt report any issues

Thanks in advance

Might be smell a bit on start up.

Best to get BG back as it may not be normal.

What boiler is it?

Daniel.
Thanks Daniel
Its a Potterton Profile 60eL boiler, with flue straight through the wall to outside, its about 7ft up the wall from the ground. About 12 years old
