Hi

Just moved into a flat having a bath with a shower fixture above,
so you can have a shower in the bath.

My problem is the slow drainage, which causes water to build up around your feet when having a shower,

I took off the waste trap (40mm Mcalpine shallow waste trap) and thouroughly cleaned it, however the drainage is still slow.

I think the drainage angle of the drain pipe looks adequate.

Are there any other types of waste trap which give faster drainage from a bath, perhaps ones specifically designed for baths which are used as showers?

Cheers

Pete

that should drain ok.
whats it drain to stack or hopper etc.
probably restricted further down.

Hi seco

It goes into a stack and i've just checked, it seems a very low gradient on the external connecting pipe, compared to others i see, perhaps this is the issue?
