Smeg A42 lower oven when turned off trips the RCD

I have a 6 year old Smeg A42. It has 2 ovens and a hob. This fault is in the lower oven.

Works fine whilst cooking. Then when i turn the oven off it trips the curcuits breaker. It does this about once in every three times i use it. I have found a way to stop it is to put the oven selector onto light only and this seems to stop it from tripping.

Any adice as to where i should start with my multimeter/ change first
