Hoping someone can advise - bit of a long story!

We moved out of a house three years ago - when we moved, my husband couldn't get the inlet water pipe off the plumbing fixing so he had to cut the pipe.

Fast forward three years... and he's decided to put the dishwasher back into service! He's done a bit of a quick fix on the pipe using a new end fixing, some 10mm copper pipe and some jubilee clips.

Well, as soon as you turn on the water pipe, the machine just fills with water from the bottom. Luckily the dishwasher when switched on, drains the water out! It seems to be responding to being put on an actual wash - makes the right noises etc but the water is coming from the wrong place!

There is also a random black cable that is hanging out of the back of the machine - is this important?! It's a DWF614SS if that helps any.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I got your problem,, you need to call some professional installer to fix it up your all pipes in correct,, in your case your hasband can fix it but not in totaly nice, maybe after 3 weeks to a couple of weeks it would become a big problem,, this really what you needed i guarantee you they are expert..http://waterdocsonline.com/

It's pretty unlikely that someone in Worcestershire will want to pay for an engineer to fly over from Arizona to fix their machine....
