I have a (quite old) freestanding Smeg dishwasher. It makes a grinding noise, fails to wash properly (the remains of the tablet is still in the dishwasher after use) and then comes up with an E3 error message ('Dishwasher fails to heat the water') after the cycle. However, the inside of the dishwasher is hot.
Thing is, I'm supposed to be selling it for £50 with my house sale as I don't want to take it with me. Is it going to be worth getting it fixed?
