Hi All,
I have a SMEG DF410BA dishwasher which has recently developed a fault.
It will not run any programs. Normally the first thing it does in any program is to start the drain pump, but it doesn’t even do this.
I have tried the reset thing of pressing the program button 4 times, and that did allow me to run a program once(which completed with no problems) but the next day problem returned despite trying to reset it many times.
There are no error codes shown (in that when an error code shows all 5 program lights are suppose to be lit) but the prewash does flash, no matter which program you are in.
I have checked the base and there is no water. When you manually lift up the float on the micro switch it does pump out water correctly.
I have taken the PCB out and there are no obviously burnt out components and the inlet valve seems ok (electrically anyway). The only thing I can see is that there is some residue in the base from where it must have flooded in the past.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
