Smell in the bathroom

There are cans that don't need to be inverted- most need the can to point upwards to expel the foam rather and than the propellant.

eg

BTW, spray the area to be filled will water first. It helps with both adhesion and curing times (vacuum first though).

Best of luck
Thx ! Bought a can with a nozzle from BQ (https://www.diy.com/departments/vol...d?storeId=1257&=&=&=&=&gad_source=1&gclsrc=ds). Will start the process next week on my days off.
Thx for the water tip !

Try to do all of the filling in one day. The "straws" provided often become clogged with foam. Sometimes, you can hold the can upright to send the propellant through the "straw".

Conversely, my foam gun cost less than £30. I can leave a canister connected for months, and it still works ( I might need to scrape away any hardened residue from the tip first).

In your case, yeah, get cans rather than a gun. From memory, the Pound Shop sells (300ml?) can for 2 or 3 quid. If you need to clean up- acetone.

There is not much to do so defo will do all in one go. It is basically only that area where pipe goes into the wall (visible in the photos).

I hope that you sort things out. Best of luck. Not convinced that it change anything- sorry, and again, best of luck

Thx, i hope it will sort it out, because i see nothing else to lean on. Unless that smell comes from inside the pipes ... throught the plastic.

Expanding foam it is then :)
Maybe check in and say hello to the neighbours. See they are well and keeping ok.

If their elderly ask maybe if they need anything.

Had a job the other week.
A valve popped The water went through to the neighbours side.

It wasn't massive but the neighbours where not happy.

My customer had to remind the neighbour that when they had a flood the their kitchen got flooded.
So no real drama developed.
These are old semi detached cottages but in any house it's possible that smells and water can be coming from next door.
