We have just bought a brand new Hotpoint WD865A washer dryer this week and every time we use the drying cycle, the clothes come out smelling far worse than when they went in. The clothes smell of fabric conditioner at the end of the washing cycle so it must be the drying thats causing the smell. A friend recommended adding a Bounce sheet before drying but surely this can't be the only way to get fresh, dry clothes.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
