Hi

I am just raising an order for Screwfix (To take advantage of the £100 off when spending >£450)

I need 3 interlinkable mains powered smoke alarms for my house, can somebody please advise which are the best ones to go for :-

I don't mind spending a bit more money if they are better.

In case it matters, 1 is to go in the downstairs hall, 1 in the garage conversion and 1 at the top of the landing.

I've fitted these before: fit for purpose and quite reasonably priced including 9v BBup.

th good ones will still require the 9v battery changing, they usualy beep every 90 seconds starting at 2 in the morning

Have you thought about a heat alarm in the kitchen ? With that you can burn the toast with the door shut ( to prevent the smoke alarm going off ) and still be alarmed if a fire starts in the kitchen.

I did order a heat alarm as well as 2 x photo electric and 2 x ionisation. All Dicon so should be interlinkable without any isues.
