hi i have rendered some garden walls 4 sand 1 cement half a shovel of lime ,not done on a sunny day looks fine but when rubbed just goes to dust used waterproofer , anyone know why this has happened? thanks

The render has probably dried out too quickly,,, didn't get a chance to cure,,, and also, it doesn't have to be a hot sunny day for it dry out fast, a drying wind can be just as bad. If it's as knackered as you say, i'd take it off and start again.
