Just took off the wallpaper in my flat and the walls are the best underneath, lots of thin cracks, some lumps of plaster out and some thick layers of what appears to be gloss paint on the walls flacking off in varrying stages, what do you think would be best, filling in the missing lumps and rub off flaking paint and put up lining paper or polycell smoothover / gyproc joint filler?

You could save yourself alot of hassle by getting a Pro-Plasterer.

You may find by the time you have bought materials it will end up becoming the same cost for a Pro-Plasterer !

I find loads of people saying this to me.

i.e. "I have spent £120 on materials and i still aint happy with surfaces. I wish i just got that Plasterer in who priced me £150 labour & material"
