Hi All,
I’ve been rehanging a radiator after decorating and I’ve managed to snap the top off the Lockshield valve (don’t know my own strength!!).
It’s in the closed position so no water flowing but I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the bit that’s snapped off or is it a whole new valve? I know valves aren’t expensive but wondering if I can do it without taking the valve off.
And if I have to replace the valve, do I need to drain the system first or can I just do it as long as I’m quick and over a big bucket!!
Cheers, Rob.
