I recently purchased a home with 110 amp service in it and 20a breakers. Some old wiring mixed in with new wiring.

I rewired most of the rooms myself with updated 12/2 wiring. The problem is which I just noticed today and not sure if it has been on going is that when my A/C window unit turns on a snapping sound will occur in my Circuit Breaker. It's not a constant snapping but a one time snap and doesn't occur every time the A/C kick's on.

I'm not sure if I am overloading the service for only having 110amp service. I do have alot of applicance's.. I.E. 2 refrigerators, computer, stove, 3 air conditioners.

It almost sounds like the breaker wants to trip but doesn't.

Could I be overloading the service or could there be problem somewhere else?

Any suggestions?
