President Donald Trump has sunk to the worst net approval rating among independent voters ever recorded for a president at this stage of a second term, falling nine points below Richard Nixon's standing at the height of the Watergate scandal, according to a CNN data analysis.

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten posted the findings on X, writing that Trump's net approval among independent voters had reached -45 points, surpassing the historic lows set by both Nixon (-36 points) and George W. Bush (-37 points) at comparable points in their second terms.

The analysis landed alongside a wave of concurrent polling that collectively painted one of the bleakest pictures of any second-term president in the modern era, with Trump's overall job approval sinking to 33%

Meanwhile, the tourism 'Trump slump' continues to cost the US tens of billions in lost revenue as Canadians and other countries, chose not to travel to Trumps USA as a tourist destination.

Can't say as I blame them.

The world is a far more dangerous place, with Trump running amok.

I expect Trump to be knocked off and Vance will take over.

I'd imagine that Vance is more of a nutter than Trump is..

He is a career politician who used to be highly critical of Trumpf, so not driven by strong principles. If Trumpf dropped dead or otherwise suddenly expired the GOP would crumble. A bit like when Fergie left United.
 
Trump is with out a doubt a fruit cake imo

But I don’t buy into some of these allegations that have been made against him ref the redacted Epstein files that some one has claimed to have seen

Really ??? If they are true ( which I doubt) he should be arrested immediately and jailed

Surely the US has some type of policy for some such scenario after all we are talking about serious sexual assault and rape of children ???

A lot of anti trump nutters believe every bit of fake news/ conspiracy theory out there about him. But ask them to look up at the chemtrails above their own heads that they can see with their own eyes and that our governornment publicly said they will do and no its you that is the nutter. These people can not be helped.

Thinking just the same. Im getting very uncomfortable with the man.

This be it, if he had been upto what they say then his own party would put an end to it otherwise they would be entangled in protecting him..

This is the same as when it was said that Putin was his boss. This would have meant that the Russians are running America and pretty much the world.

They tried this with Brexit and Farage. Then they call anyone that doesn't go with their rhetoric a racist.

They then stand on the side of Iran who have murdered 1000's of their own. No wonder people support Trump, as the opposite is even more scary.
