Sock caught between inner and outer drum of AEG

A sock has got between the outer and inner drum of my AEG washing machine and is making the drum unable to rotate freely. Can anyone tell me how to extract it without having to call out an engineer? Thank you.

if it's betwen the tub and the drum front you may get it with some bent nose pliers by gently easing back the silver lip to get access. if it's between the tub ond the drum barrel then you may get it by removing the sump hose or the heater element. if you don't know where it is and your wash tub is plastic you can shine a bright torch inside the cabinet and look for a silhouette through the drum holes.
