I want to have the soil pipe from the toilet pictured above going out to one side, rather than straight out the wall at the back of the toilet.

To achieve this, do I need either a

a) FloPlast SP561 92.5° Bend Double Socket 110mm
or
b) FloPlast SP161 92.5° Bend Single Socket

(both pictured below) or something else? Thanks!

One end of the bent pan connector connects directly to the toilet, then I presume a standard soil pipe is connected to the other end and this soil pipe fed through the wall. Is this correct?

Then I want the soil pipe to have a right angle turn to direct to the external soil stack pipe. Do I need option a) or b) as shown in my first post?

That depends on the stack pipe you're connecting too - plain ended stack pipe will need a double socket bend (a) & socket-ended stack pipe will need a single socket bend (b)

What are you connecting to externally?

It's something like the image below.

There is currently an external soil pipe attached to the stack pipe, but this soil pipe will now be in the wrong place and no longer required.

The new soil pipe will be longer and will attach to the stack pipe slightly lower down in an uncut section of the stack pipe. (As I have sketched in white below).

Does this answer the question?

Once you've determined where to cut the stack

You need one of these http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp502-92-5-access-branch-black-110mm/49750
Connected to the stack with one of these http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp105-double-pipe-coupler-black-110mm/47977
With this, cut to length, for the new branch http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp3g-single-socket-soil-pipe-black-110mm-x-3m/49565
With this at the end (to go throught the wall into your bathroom) http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp161-92-5-bend-single-socket-black/70115
And a few of these to hold everything to the wall http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp82bl-pipe-clips-black-5-pack/76037

If you're lucky, you may be able to get the old section of the soil/vent pipe to fit into the top of the new branch.

Chamfer all the pipe ends and use some lubricant to get the fittings & pipe together

I didn't notice any slip couplings being mentioned??
Material quality is absolute pants , the brackets are laughable , good quality materials come @ a price as do quality access bends/ branches..;)

Shouldn't need slip couplings - the stack is being cut and effectively being built from bottom upwards.

Bracket quality - agreed. As for the rest, usually Marley but to be honest they are overcharging. The Floplast stuff is good and their mini-chambers are as good as any other brand. Their internal traps and waste fittings are bl88dy useless.

Edit - missed the access bend  http://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-sp169-92-5-access-bend-black-110mm/63713
