soil pipe sealant

Ive extended the current cast iron soil pipe about a 750mm with plastic using a jubilee clips adaptor.

Everything connected seems perfect, but I want to add a bead of sealant around the join to make sure it doesnt leak

Can anyone recommend anything?

I recommend not adding anything that the connector manufacturer hasn't approved.
