Hi all ,

Have a slight weeping leak on the underside of where soil pipe meets the tee join (seems like a little gap), at bottom ,after toilet upstairs is flushed ,highlighted area is in yellow leaking.

Hard to remove it seems tight , can I just get away with putting some ct1, fernox lsx or polypipe gap filling cement around gap at bottom of the join around where tee meets soil pipe as a permanent fix?

And if so what one would be best to use ?

Thanks.in advance for any help :)

That is solvent weld soil pipe so if you're lucky then you may get away with getting it dry, then use a hairdryer or hot air gun and get the section nice and hot to dry it internally too and then use some solvent weld cement or the gap filler (expensive) and press it in and around the section with your finger and leave to dry.

If not then repeat the process but use a wet grab silicone adhesive that glues and sets even when wet , not CT1 etc as it doesn't really like sticking where it's wet, no matter what the blurb says, I've tried it.
