I am changing a toilet from a traditional type to a concealed cistern in a stud wall. The soil pipe is Terrain solvent weld.
I need to connect the black pipe that comes with the cistern frame to the existing setup.
I'm thinking as the immediate joints are all butted up to each other and SW the only option I have is to cut the stack at the indicated point and get a new branch and join to that?
Is there any other way to do this?
Is SW better than the rubber seal push fit stuff?
Does SW last longer?
Why is there different colour pipes? Does it matter if I use black pipe?
Any help or advice appreciated.
